The song and video personalizes the disease Alzheimers with the song, “Remembering,” written for her father and country icon, Glen Campbell

According to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 5.1 million Americans have the disease and one to four family members act as caregivers. In the past several years, public awareness of this disease has finally found the spotlight. Thanks in part to family members like Ashley. Her father is Glen Campbell, a legend in country music. 2014 the Campbell family released, Glen Campbell… I’ll Be Me, a documentary about his farewell tour and dealing with the diagnosis.

“Remembering” by itself is a beautiful song from a daughter to her father. Time has a way of stealing our memories from us. Throughout the video for “Remembering,” Ashley shares images from home movies of her childhood that add a visual context to the lyrics. The video, the lyrics, and her voice will provide comfort for other caregivers who are not able to express their partnership to the loss of time and memories of their loved ones.

Campbell certainly has the makings for a bright future. A voice that matches her beauty; banjo and guitar skills, song writing, and a family legacy.

Ashley is currently on tour in London but returns to dates in the U.S. on March 19th.
