After a decade, band signs with RCA Nashville.

For the past ten years, Old Dominion has been building themselves up as a country band worth being recognized at the national level. Members Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi each contribute to the band as songwriter, singer, and musician. This triple threat mix of talent adds a rare quality to Old Dominion, giving fans a valuable and unique taste of music.

Old Dominion has recently topped the music charts with their single, “Break up with Him.” This song has defended its spot as No. 1 on The Highway Hot 45 Countdown for six straight weeks. “Break up with Him” has a distinct country music sound that is accompanied by a clash of hip-hop, blues, and rock. It has been added as an album cut by market program directors.

The band’s songs have been recorded by well-known artists such as Kenney Chesney, Luke Bryan, Chris Young, The Band Perry, and Keith Urban. They now join the list of RCA Nashville members that include Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, and Jake Owen. Old Dominion plans to collaborate with RCA Nashville to focus on its own rock-country style that is described as raw and powerful.

This summer they will be opening for select shows of Kenney Chesney’s The Big Revival stadium tour. Old Dominion will also be releasing more music in 2015. Check their website for shows and updates.
