Trying to figure out if you’ve heard The Railers before? Maybe Tin Cup Gypsy sounds familiar.

Tin Cup Gypsy, now known as The Railers, changed their name in 2012. The band is made up Jordan and Jonathan Lawson, Cassandra Lawson, and Tyler Oban. They signed a publishing deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2012. Also in 2012, they signed a record deal with Warner Nashville Music.

The Railers released their first EP entitled The Railers: The Geraldine Sessions in May of 2014. All six songs were recorded live in one session. According to their website, the band said, “Geraldine…That’s the name of our big blue van that rolls down the road night after night. Ya’ll keep asking us for music you can rock out to, and we are knee deep at work on our first studio record- but wanted to get something into your hands. This is just us, gathered around a mic, having a jam session in your living room.”

The band is so great that Rolling Stone said they might be the next Carrie Underwood. The Railers will be on tour soon. Some of the cities they will be visiting include Nashville, Chicago, Kansas City, Athens, Indianapolis and many more. Make sure to be on the look out, because they may be coming to a city near you.
